Communities for Communities and its members believe it’s time for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s Voice to Parliament.  This is the first small but crucial step towards recognising our First Nations people.

For 20 years C4C has been focused on building community in Canada Bay Sydney and supporting projects in housing, youth development and sanitation here in Australia, and overseas. We follow in the steps of the Wangal people who built community here first, and still do so today.

We believe that this referendum presents our country with a once in a generation opportunity to recognize the permanency of our First Nations people. We believe that an amendment to the constitution, rather than symbolic recognition, is crucial to ensure First Nations people determine how they are represented.
